216-246-6087 Called this morning at 1017 a.m. and didn't leave a message. I called back and the message says "This caller is not accepting calls at this time. Please try again later." Repeats this message again in Spanish with an official recording ID code.
Use2DaGameAPPEND to my previous comment- Scammers can get your phone number from websites that you visit using your cell phone and/or computer [IF] someone and/or you are accessing sites that they steal information from. A lot of the scammers buy the information and then use it to harass us...
Use2DaGameReading these comments are hilarious! But this is no laughing matter. I rarely give my cell phone out to anyone, except family members; no businesses, no doctors, no distant friends, etc. FYI-As long as people are using FB, Twitter, Instagram etc. from their cell phones or whatever, and your number is in their address book(s), these scammers will continue to phish you. *sigh* Better yet, stop answering calls from 1-800 numbers or numbers you don't recognize; additionally, if you are not expecting a call from a doctor, lawyer, credit card company, etc, don't answer unrecognizable callers.
Today was the first day in nearly 5 years I received one of these calls on my cell phone. I didn't bother to answer, but I did come to this site and immediately typed in the number that was calling me...hahaha and so here I am. I just wish they would go with the wind.
Can't Scam MeVoicemail said "This is a message from your credit card company... there is no problem with your account but... blah blah"
Pressed '1' Guy who answered (latino accent) said he was calling about my "Visa Mastercard". Those are two different cards, I says, which one is he calling about. He says "You have more than one credit card". No shit, I says. I ask which card he's calling about. He says "whichever one you want to lower the interest rate on." He says they work with Experian to lower interest rates, asks which card I have the highest balance on. Discover, I says. He says "let's see, Discover interest rates are over 10%" Ha, good guess, I says, you don't know my card, you don't know my balance or my interest rate, are you just trying to scam me for my information? He bursts out with "Fuck you guy! Fuck you! Wasting my time, fuck you!" #thatescalatedquickly
Tamara MorrisCalled claiming he was calling from Experian to help lower interest rates on my credit cards. Told me the first 6 numbers on my card and asked for the last 4. Ya right douchbag! Ain't gettin' your hussle on with me! After telling him I'm not giving that info out he preceded to ask, "If he can f*** me! And F*** you! F****!" as he stated. And he hung up on me. Clearly had a strong african voice.
