  I have found a way to get back at them. The government can be a little slow in their response since they need to develop a case, still file a complaint. Another method I have been using is fairly easy, research their number and identify who their phone provider is, Once you have that information, contact the provider and report that the phone number they have issued is being used by an IRS scammer.

  So I called back 785-551-3219 the first time it said *611, I called again they answered. I spoke with a Daniel Weinstern (LOL) with an Indian accent. I gave him fake information and he put me on hold and he comes back with my full name and address. BIG DEAL - Internet has that stuff. I asked what did he want and he said because you lied to me we are going after you. I responded with my animal cousins.. the MS-13 will respond back to you and they hung up. Who knew that using MS-13 would work.

  Left a recorded message, which the IRS or US Government entities do not do, threatening to "download my case to courts." Don't even waste your time calling them back unless you just want to have some fun.

  They called my teenager today. I called them back and asked why they were soliciting a minor. They hung up on me. I then called 30 more times asking the same question and told them I was recording the conversation. The last time I called, the call wouldn't go through.

  2 phone calls on my cell within 5 mins of each other..threatening to sue me ...gov't threatening to sue me...this is ridic...i'm on the do not call list !!! what's it going to take to stop these scammers????

  The number answered by a guy with heavy Indian accent. Fraudster: "Thanks for calling the IRS. How may I help you?" Me: Is this the IRS? As in Indian Rabid Sheethead.

  Number called me and left part of a computer recorded about not reply to a message six months ago and about fraud charges bring brought against me. Doesn’t address me by name. Thank you to all who posted this thread of information!

  received a call from this number stating it was the IRS and a bench warrant was issued for my arrest. Contacted IRS (2 hours on hold) and it's a scam.

  Same as everyone else. They claimed that the IRS was suing me and I had to call back in order to get information. I filed a complaint with the FTC at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx . I hope everyone else does the same

  robocall scammer said This call is officially a final notice from the I.R.S. This message is to inform you that I.R.S. is filing a legal warrant under your name and your tax id for the tax fraud and the investigating team of our department is investigating you and your family we have tried to notify you regarding this issue in previous 6 months but we have never got a response from you so it is being considered as an intentional fraud and lawsuit has been filed under your name by the United States government you may call our department number 785-551-3219 I repeat 785-551-3219 call for more information before we download your case into the courthouse thank you.

  Omg! They are so hard to understand and the more I would ask him who he was the more he would got upset and start yelling at me!! How do you report them? Then he told me if I didn't verify my information that he would have me deported! I told him go ahead I was born and raised in the U.S.

  Requested a return phone call as claimed the U. S. government was planning to take me to court on fraud charges. I did not return the call as it sounded very suspicious.
