Received unwanted call from 833-942-6398 ?

After i read those comments i have the same issue. I tape the phone call and i brought it to Bergen county court. there are a cyber attack and they have department that is collecting date. I recommended to whoever received it block the numbers and let them talk until you tape and bring the info to court. Hopefully we stop it. they try to collect from me account that i have never been in that store and i dont have credit card. Good luck

First I got a voicemail from a "location service" saying they were looking for me bc im being sued by creditor and they're gonna go to my place of employment (a few days later they were leaving voicemails on my mother's phone giving them details). I called the # they said to call and all they said was "legal department" no company name. After saying I was going to be transferred I asked for company name and they said LBS (nothing came up in my search) I spoke with someone and they were saying I was going to court against their attorneys from a debt in 2013(which I'm not sure is even mine since I've paid all debt from that time and nothing on my credit report). She stated the only way to slow it down is to give them payment information over the phone for them to have on file. I said im not blindly giving my bank info over the phone and to mail me something that shows the debt. She said they can't mail bc id receive it too late. I asked them to email it then And she said they are unable to do that either and they need payment info over the phone. Again I said its 2021 I'm not providing payment info to an unconfirmed company on debt that I haven't confirmed is even mine (plus statute of limitations in NJ is 6 years for debt collectors, 20 years of theres an existing judgment) I'm not aware of any existing judgment (reached out to local courts to see if there one) but seems like it may be a scare tactic to get you to submit payment or acknowledge the debt to restart the 6 years statute of limitations

Same experience as above.... said i needed to call them back due to a judicial matter. Said they already contacted my employer to see if i was on the premises. i came here to search the number first and glad i did.... seems a huge scam

Received VM gave me a court case number and this phone number to call (833) 942-6398 or they would arrest me at home or employer. HA

I received the same call. Same as Mike and Viola: They would arrest me at my home or work if I don’t call back. I called the reporting county she said on the voicemail. They said that they do not reach any via phone or leave voicemail regarding an affidavit when suing someone. She had no nature of the affidavit that was provided.

She gave me a court case number and this phone number to call (833) 942-6398. I DID NOT CALL.

They left this message on my sister's voicemail. I am looking forward to speaking to them and then filing a complaint with the feds.

This is the message I have been receiving. They have called my ex-husband and are using my old married name from 15 years ago. This is a scam. “This message is for (Name). my name is Kim Carter which additional services I've been instructed to contact you in regards to an active order of location that's being issued and filed against you through the county due to avoid contact they have instructed me to speak with your employer directly due to them wanting to have you processed on their premises once the paperwork is submitted they will have to make a determination whether or not you're on the premises to avoid further penalties you may contact the proceeding office they can be reached at 833-942-6398. (Name) this is your official legal notification by telephone so you can't state you didn't have any prior knowledge…”

I received the same call. They are a collection company, they called me a couple of months ago regarding a past due loan by phone that I had taken out.

Same as Viola was called saying they were judicial services. They would arrest me at my home or work if I didn't call.
